Panther Safety Shoes

Reading time: 3 min

Panther safety shoes was born as a manufacturer of high quality work footwear thanks to the entrepreneurial intuition of Rocco Cilenti. The research and development area is the heart of the company because it is the place where all products are created: a high-profile workshop where all prototypes are designed, developed and tested.

Panther is able to satisfy all needs through an efficient logistics area that processes the order in 48/72 hours with the “Pick & Pack” system. Production takes place with highly technological DESMA systems in a short time thanks to the LEAN supply system.

Quality control is carried out at the end of each production process and the continuous contact with local and international certification institutes guarantees the highest certification standards.

What distinguishes the Panther Safety Shoe brand from other brands?

Panther guarantees the anatomical shape of the injected sole which, unlike the removable insoles, is unalterable for the entire life of the shoe. In addition, it offers comfort and well-being even after a long day of work.

The Power Cap tip is in multilayer fiberglass and rubber particulate, it guarantees exceptional strength and modern design. In addition, it confirms any Canadian CSA regulation, has brilliantly passed all EN ISO 12568 requirements, is non-metallic, resists extreme temperatures in every season, is able to improve thermal insulation compared to other aluminum or steel toe caps and manages to maintain constant body temperatures.

And in terms of style?

Panther also guarantees a rigid anti-twisting abs support that is applied between the anti-perforation midsole and the midsole, under the arch of the foot. This support is able to improve the stability of every worker when the support of the feet is not ideal. This feature is present in all models, excluding those that have a steel antiperforation midsole.

Another essential feature is the Silver Strip Discharge, a conductive cotton tape with silver threads, inside the upper and in direct contact with the foot which increases and stabilizes the dispersion capacity of electrostatic charges throughout the life of the shoe . This anti-static safety device has successfully passed all standard requirements, but is not available for ESR O2 models and those with a steel midsole.

Another known characteristic of Panther is the TEXON ENUGMA ZERO HT2, that is a non-metallic, antistatic, light and flexible composite midsole, built with multiple layers of high brightness fibers.

I was born in London in 1975 and still live here. I could define myself, summing up in a few words my long working career, a great expert in the field of foot and foot problems. Immediately after graduating in Motor Science I started working in an orthopaedics in which orthotics were made to measure for people with foot problems. In 1999 I was hired as Key Account Manager in a well-known chain of safety footwear and other personal protective equipment. Among my clients I had several industries, which I visited regularly to understand the needs of workers, both in terms of protection and comfort. During these years I have consolidated my knowledge on foot problems. Furthermore, I studied carefully the products I proposed: attending courses, participating in trade fairs and, often, accepting the invitation of manufacturers to visit the factories. I was thus able to observe closely the techniques and materials used to produce the best safety shoes. Since 2015 I have been collaborating with the PPE Academy for the content of Safety Shoes Today.
